Maintenance mode

Temporarily show visitors a maintenance page while you make changes behind the scenes.

Updated Jun 24, 2026

Overview

Maintenance mode replaces your public pages with a temporary maintenance screen while you work on the site. Your Console stays fully accessible - only public visitors see the maintenance page.

Turn on maintenance mode

  1. Open Settings for your site.
  2. Find the Maintenance Mode card and turn on Enable maintenance mode.
  3. Optionally set a headline, a message, and an estimated return time.
  4. Save your changes.

What visitors see

While enabled, visitors get a branded maintenance page using your site’s look. The page tells search engines not to index it, so a temporary maintenance window won’t affect your SEO. If you don’t set your own text, Promino shows sensible defaults like “We’ll be back soon”.

Turning it off

Switch the toggle off and save. Your normal published pages are served again right away.
