Cancel a subscription

Overview

You can cancel a site’s subscription from the Billing tool. Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep access until then.

Cancel your plan

1. Open Billing for your site.
2. Choose to cancel your subscription.
3. Your plan stays active until the end of the current period, then will not renew.

What happens to your site

Once a subscription is no longer active, the site is taken offline and visitors see an unavailable message instead of your pages. Your content is not deleted - re-subscribing brings the site back. If you want to remove a site entirely, see Delete a site.

Changed your mind?

If you cancel but decide to stay before the period ends, you can resume your subscription from the Billing tool to keep your site live without interruption.
