Upgrade or downgrade your plan

Change your plan at any time and unlock or adjust your features and limits.

Updated Jun 24, 2026

Overview

You can change a site’s plan whenever you like. Upgrading unlocks more pages and features immediately; downgrading reduces your limits, but never deletes your content straight away.

Change your plan

  1. Open Billing for your site.
  2. Choose the plan you want. If you are downgrading, Promino shows a summary of exactly what will be affected before you confirm.
  3. Complete checkout securely. Payments are handled by Stripe.

What happens on upgrade

Your new limits and features apply right away - more pages, more storage, and any features the higher plan unlocks, such as forms or analytics.

What happens on downgrade

Features that belong to a higher plan - such as analytics, banners, password-protected pages, maintenance mode, or live visitors - become unavailable immediately.

For everything else you get a grace period that runs until the end of the billing period you just started on the lower plan. A countdown banner shows how long you have left. During this window nothing is removed, so you can delete pages, free up storage, or upgrade again to stay within the new limits.

What gets parked when the grace period ends

If you are still over the new plan’s limits when the grace period ends, the excess is parked - hidden and unpublished, but not deleted:

  • Pages - your homepage and the most recently updated pages stay live up to the plan limit; the rest are parked and removed from your published site.
  • Redirects - redirects beyond the plan limit stop working.
  • Collaborators - collaborators beyond the plan limit lose access.
  • Storage - if you are over the storage limit, new uploads are blocked until you free up space.

Restoring parked items

Parking is reversible. Once you upgrade again, or reduce your usage so there is room, open the relevant tool - Pages, Redirects, or Collaborators - and use the parked items panel to restore anything you want back. Restoring is only blocked while it would put you back over your current plan limit.

Payments are secure

Promino never stores your card details. All billing is processed by Stripe.
