Create your first site

Overview

Promino is a website builder where you assemble pages from a curated library of professionally designed sections. Creating a site takes about a minute - you name it, choose a free Promino subdomain, and pick a plan. Your first page is created for you so you can start editing right away.

Before you start

• A name for your site - you can change it later.
• An idea of which plan fits your needs. You can start on any plan and change it whenever you like.

Create a site

1. From the Console, click New site.
2. Enter a Site name. This is used across the dashboard and as a starting point for your subdomain.
3. Optionally add a short Description.
4. Set your Promino subdomain. It is generated from your site name and may only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. Your site preview address looks like your-site.promino.app.
5. Continue to the next step and choose a plan.
6. Click Create site.

What happens next

Promino creates your site and adds a single Home page at the root path (/). You are taken into the Console for that site, where every tool - pages, branding, media, analytics, and more - lives in the left navigation.

If the subdomain you chose is already taken, pick a different one and try again.
