Using the media library

Upload images, add alt text, see where each file is used, and stay within your storage limit.

Overview

The Media library stores the images you use across your pages. Upload once, then reuse files wherever you need them.

Upload media

  1. Open Media for your site.
  2. Drag files in or click to choose them from your device.
  3. Once uploaded, an image is available to any section that accepts an image.

Supported files and limits

  • Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, and SVG.
  • Each file can be up to 20 MB.
  • Total storage depends on your plan - 500 MB on Launch, 2 GB on Grow, and 10 GB on Scale.

Alt text and accessibility

Add alt text to each image to describe it for screen readers and improve SEO. Alt text travels with the image wherever it is used.

Tracking where media is used

Promino tracks which pages and sections use each image, so you can filter your library by used and unused files and clean up safely. Deleting an image that is still in use will leave gaps on your pages, so check usage first.

Storage limits

If you reach your storage limit, remove unused files or upgrade your plan. If a downgrade puts you over the limit, you get a short grace period to bring usage back down before uploads are blocked.
