Overview
Once you have set up languages and published, Promino AI fills in each language for you. You can then review and adjust any language directly in the page editor, without leaving your layout. This is available on the Scale plan.
Switch to a language
Open a page in the editor. In the header of the sections sidebar, click the language icon and choose a language. The preview and the editing panel switch to show that language’s copy. Choose your website language again to return to the original.
Edit translated copy
While viewing a language, you can edit its text and images. Anything you don’t touch falls back to your website language automatically, so a partly-translated page still looks complete. Structural settings - anchor IDs, button styles, and layout - are shared across all languages and are edited once on your website-language version.
Save vs publish
Each language has the same two steps as a normal page:
- Save draft stores your changes for that language without putting them live.
- Publish (shown with the language code, e.g.
Publish IT) makes that one language live.
Publishing one language does not affect the others or your website-language version.
Your edits are protected
When you change your website-language copy and publish again, Promino only re-translates the fields that actually changed. Anything you edited by hand in a language is kept and not overwritten. If a source field changes, its translation is flagged as out of date so you can review it.
Tips
- Review each language after the first publish - AI translations are a strong starting point, not the final word.
- Add brand and product names to the Glossary so they stay untouched in every language.
- Page titles and SEO details are translated too, so each language reads well when shared or found in search.
