Connect Google Analytics

Overview

If you use Google Analytics, you can connect it to your Promino site by adding your measurement ID. This runs alongside Promino’s own built-in analytics.

Add your measurement ID

1. Open Settings for your site.
2. Find the Google Analytics field.
3. Paste your measurement ID - it looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX.
4. Save your changes.

Cookie consent

Unlike Promino’s cookieless analytics, Google Analytics uses cookies. To respect visitor privacy, Promino only loads Google Analytics after a visitor has accepted cookie consent. If a visitor declines, GA does not load for them.

If you would rather run your own consent tool, turn on I manage cookie consent myself on the Legal page to switch off Promino’s banner. You then take responsibility for collecting consent before Google Analytics runs.

Finding your measurement ID

Your measurement ID is in your Google Analytics property settings, under the data stream for your website. It always begins with G-.
